Europe
Europe, the world's second-smallest continent, has shaped Western culture. Almost 40 countries have a rich history with varied relics still visible today. Culture, traditions, and languages are as diverse as wonderful cuisine and timeless art. The continent offers world-class cultural events and spectacular natural treasures within five hours of home.
Western Europe
Dotted with ancient Cro-Magnon caves, otherworldly passage tombs and stone circles, crumbling Greek temples and Roman bathhouses, ostentatious chateaux, castles and palaces where power was wielded and geopolitical boundaries reshaped, as well as poignant sites like D-Day beaches and the Berlin Wall ruins. An understanding of Europe's past is required to comprehend its present.
United Kingdom
It may not always seem like the United Kingdom is a very strong group. Yet, this state is full of things to do and see, from bustling cities to beautiful countryside. England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are all great places to visit on their own, but when you travel between them, you can see how they all have their own unique cultures and traditions.
Central & Eastern Europe
For long of the 20th century, the hip and historic countries of Central and East Europe were hidden under the Soviet hegemony. Travelers have gradually “discovered” their beautiful landscape, friendly people, medieval villages, and rococo cities. Though this area is becoming more familiar, there is still much to uncover.
Scandinavia
With vast wilderness - forests, lakes, volcanoes – and intoxicatingly pure air, nature is a visceral pleasure. The region is dotted with national parks, where you may go hiking, kayaking, glacier walking, or bear viewing. Stunning coastlines beckon water exploration, whether it's fjords, cliffs swarming with seabirds, or archipelagos dotted with islands like a painter's brush. Whales and wolverines await the lucky observer.
